I dine at Spanky's for lunch three times a summer. Its a quicky walk from the Nantucket ferry and and easy spot for before or after the ferry journey. All my meals this year 2024, have been very good. Oysters and Little Necks on the half-shell are fresh and always excellent. I like their creamy chowder, it always satisfies. The Lobster Clambake, Fried Whole Belly Clams, Fish & Chips, and burgers are always well prepared and delicious. They have local beers and nice cocktails too. The only note I will add is that area of Hyannis is always busy at the height of summer. Avoid the crowd by showing up to lunch a bit early or a bit late. A mid afternoon snack is wonderful because the crowds are lower and you might get a seat outside quickly in the nice weather.

This was our first time in Cape Cod, and I am SO glad we decided to stop here. Being from the south, I had never heard on whole belly clams. I got them, and now I am hooked! The clams, chowder, bisque, and lobster roll were incredibly good. I hope to make it back some day!

Visited beautiful Hyannis Cape Cod and on a lookout to find a good seafood restaurant with high quality food and won't break the bank. Local recommendations led us to Spanky's and were glad that we tried this place. We sat outside overlooking the harbor and enjoyed the cocktail drinks we ordered - Love on the Docks and Dark & Stormy. They don't cheap out on the booze but just disappointed that they're served in plastic cups. We wanted to try the Stuffed Quahogs for starters since this is one of Cape Cod's delicacy. There's so much flavor packed into one bite - crispy from the breading, tender clams and cheesy and garlicky from the other ingredients. Must try when you're in Cape Cod. For mains, we had the Lobster Roll and Cape Cod Fish and Chips. Both came with french fries and coleslaw. Portion sizes were very generous, prices were reasonable and seafood was fresh and cooked to perfection. Would have preferred the lobster roll to be a little bit warm and more spices incorporated into the dish. Service was excellent with Catie being our server. Such a sweet and nice person, always checking to see if everything was okay or to refill our water glasses. If you enjoy seafood and wonderful seaside views, you would definitely want to try Spanky's Clam Shack & Seaside Saloon.

We've been here many times but this was my first lobster salad. Well worth the price and my new go to over the lobster roll. The amount of lobster insane and they put it on top of a Caesar salad! Nothing beats their location. Sat outside by the water. Waitress was good, didn't rush us. I'll definitely be having this again.

Highly recommend Spanky's Clam Shack when your in the mood for amazing seafood! Thank you Gina, and Libby for excellent service despite the kitchen closing early. The hospitality, food, portion size were all phenomenal. The lobster roll is the best, I have ever had on the Cape. The fries were hot, fresh, and crispy. The atmosphere of the restaurant and bar area are lovely. Definitely a must visit when visiting Hyannis.
